Tradefactor has been awarded the runner up to the prestigious "COMMERCIAL RETAILER OF THE YEAR" award by the SOUTH AFRICAN ASSOCIATION FOR STATIONERY, HOME AND OFFICE PRODUCTS (SHOP SA).

In a ceremony held on Thursday the 2nd of October 2006, Waltons was nominated the COMMERCIAL RETAILER OF THE YEAR, with Tradefactor being the runner up. The award is an industry award and is a proof that Tradefactors' business model is a proven success. Both suppliers and customer nominated Tradefactor for the award. The evening, sponsored by Mondi Business paper and SHOP SA was a huge success, and for Tradefactor was an acknowledgement that hard work, dedication to customer service, and value for money (all values which tradefactor philosophy is based on) is a winning formula.
